Cape Panwa

Located on Phuket's south eastern side is a little village called Cape Panwa. Home to the infamous Panwa Beach, this unique little southern cape offers a quaint hometown feel with refreshing sea breezes. Because there are no islands around the southern cape the views out to sea are spectacular.

Although not a very large village Cape Panwa still has a lot to offer. With many fine dining restaurants and several high end resorts this tiny cape has modern charm and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. With evening vendors spread along the boardwalk and plenty of benches to sit and listen to the ocean on, it truly does feel like you are home.

While this little cape does boast many local dining establishments, hotels and condominiums it is also the home to something much more interesting: Nestled at the end of the boardwalk is the Phuket Marine Biological Center, a unique 80 acres research center and aquarium devoted in helping to preserve and educated locals and tourists in aquatic culture.
